14th symposium on technical cleanliness in assembly and production processes

Technical

The SV Veranstaltungen event on May 14 - 15, 2024 in Baunatal was a complete success with brand new topics!

In addition to cutting-edge topics on technical cleanliness with top-class speakers and technical cleanliness specialists, the event also included a plant tour and technical introduction to the Volkswagen plant in Kassel. As part of the transformation to e-drive production, technical component cleanliness and cleanliness in assembly are becoming increasingly important, particularly at the Kassel plant. In addition to the challenges posed by higher power density, the interaction with electrical components and HV safety poses particular challenges. The tour provided an insight into the changes and adjustments within the production areas.

With the involvement of CleanControlling, various aspects of these challenges were highlighted in workshops, including the "Measurement technology" workshop, in which the addition of particle extraction processes in relation to the changes to electromobility components was discussed under the moderation of Volker Burger - Managing Director of CleanControlling. With the new requirements and framework conditions for electrotechnical components, the extraction processes in the cleanliness laboratory must continue to evolve. New procedures are being discussed and developed for this adaptation in the VDA19 Part 1 guidelines and the ZVEI guidelines.
These upcoming processes, such as dry extraction and the partial stamping of particles, were discussed and developed during the workshop.
